Daz's Daily #15 - Sepia Effects

Paints Used
P3 Thamar Black
P3 Ironhull Grey
P3 Morrow White.
P3 Umbral Umber
P3 Heartfire
P3 Morrow White

This one looks at Sepia effects - great if you need to get something on the table quick and also a great way of preparing your models to achieve a more muted effect when you do get around to adding paint!

Zenithal undercoat is applied with an Airbrush.

You can use rattle cans for this process, however, it will not be as fine. I used Thamar Black, then Ironhull Grey, then Morrow White.

The whole model receives a wash of Umbral Umber watered down 7-1.

Heartfire was added to Umbral Umber in equal amounts to create Sepia, then watered down 7-1 and applied as a wash.

The whole model was given a very light drybrush of Morrow White in circular motions focussing on the top third of the model.

Another wash of Sepia was applied and job done!

The end result...
