Jadzia has served a full year as our special event promotional miniature but she has handed her title to the new event miniature, Theodore Roosevelt, for 2020.
Who is Jadzia Kosciuszko?
Jadzia Kosciuszko's life was planned out for her, a career in the military expected and inevitable for her future. Being the daughter of a long-line of military blood, from a very young age she was pushed to follow in the footsteps of her great, great grandfather; the indomitable Tadeusz Kosciuszko. As expected by those of her lineage, Jadzia enrolled within the Polish Army. First as a courier, and eventually, climbing internally within the ranks of the Hussars.
It soon became apparent Jadzia was prominent in proving her will and determination and became renowned for having an attention to detail: with quick wit and sharp mind. After displaying these innate yet impressive talents, she was quickly noticed and targeted for solo reconnaissance missions, missions which the Polish Army had every faith she could accomplish. Partnered with her trusty Treadbike and wielding a cryo-lance, Jadzia can obliterate heavily armoured targets with brute force, dexterity and brilliance. She quickly engages with righteous fury and withdraws stealthily beyond the reach of any possible response, leaving ruin and destruction in her wake. This unique role has ensured Jadzia's worthiness to travel broadly under the service of the Commonwealth, spreading her legend far and wide - including destinations as distant and far-flung as the Union badlands, and the frozen wastes of Antarctica.
How Does She Play?
Although Jadzia is an expensive FACE to add to your posse, at a hefty 160 points, she comes with an impressive variety of Special Rules for those looking for a worthy character. The 'RAPID' ability ensures that she can Focus Move Actions for no additional cost. 'FORCEFUL STRIKE' gives her a decisive edge. Once during her activation, you can spend one Action Point to double the Piercing value of a single Strike Action (up to a maximum of -6).
Her 'FORM UP ON ME' ability can be used after both sides have deployed. On using this ability, she and a Hands unit within 3" gain the 'TRAILFINDER' Special Rule. She also has the Special Ability 'INSPIRATIONAL', meaning any friendly Unit (excluding this one) within 6" may re-roll a single dice roll in their Activation.

Strategies
Jadzia is a Mercenary Face and can be included in a large number of posses because of this. She has a Quickness of 7 and Rapid making a regular Move Action 9"; therefore, she can grab objectives very fast or reinforce your other Units in the blink of an eye. Her cannons and Cryo lance make her useful both at range and up close with the ability to crack high Grit Units. Beware though, because she has the Bulky characteristic, she can't use portals, but with her speed that is no significant loss.
