Warcradle Studios Diary #25
The Firestorm Universe is taking shape in the studio to become an exciting setting. 2020 is going to be an important year for Warcradle Studios and we want you to be amongst the first to hear about what’s planned for space combat in the future!
We have a lot of ranges that are at various stages of development in the studio. Some come to us for a new lease of life while others are based on licenses (we’ve got some exciting licensed games to announce later this year). Of course, some of those properties that are brought into our studio need more work than others. There is no first in-first out queue of games being worked on by the studio as each range has its own challenges and requirements. The studio plans with our sales and marketing teams as to which ranges are best launched at what time. That brings us to Firestorm Armada…
It was always our intention to launch Dystopian Wars and then go straight into the Firestorm Armada Beta test. Recent developments around the world have caused a delay to our launch schedule for Dystopian Wars, but we’ve decided that it doesn’t mean that it should affect Firestorm Armada’s Beta test.
I’m delighted to confirm that the Firestorm Armada Beta will launch on Wednesday the 6th May 2020.
The Beta will run along similar lines to the successful Dystopian Wars Beta Test. Full details of how to get involved will be revealed in the run up to the launch.
But that’s not all… intelligence reports have begun to detail some of the factions waging war in the Firestorm Galaxy. Vessels from the ancient Veydreth (as seen above) and the stalwart Sorylians have been identified…
We are excited to venture out into the Firestorm universe with you, watch this space for more news.
Until next time!
