Daz's Dailies #5 - Construct Flesh

Paints Used
P3 Ordic Olive
P3 Umbral Umber
P3 Ryn Flesh
P3 Menoth White Highlight
P3 Khador Base Red

Good morning, gunslingers!

Today's Daz’s Daily is on construct flesh. Have fun!

Skin areas are washed with a 50/50 mix of Umbral Umber and Ordic Olive watered down 7-1 over a zenithal undercoat.

Add 1 part Ryn Flesh to your previous mix for the basecoat. This is glazed on the majority of the flesh areas leaving a little of the previous mix in the recesses.

Add more Ryn Flesh for your first highlight and aim this to cover the top half of the muscles.

Pure Ryn Flesh is glazed over the top quarter of the muscle areas.

Menoth White Highlight is glazed over the top parts of the muscles. Try and get this to end sharply where the shadows and highlights meet to enhance contrast.

Our original Olive/Umber mix is glazed into the recesses to add more contrast.

A 50/50 mix of Khador Red Base and Beaten Purple is glazed into and around the scars and stitches. This is repeated three time to add depth to the sore areas and then finally the stitching is picked out in Menoth White Highlight.
