Also available to pre-order soon are the separate boxes for the Alliance in Armoured Clash, offering you an easy way to add to your army and bolster your units.
Dystopian Wars
Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame that uses highly detailed miniatures to represent huge engines of destruction on, above, and below the high seas. Set in the Dystopian Age, an alternate late-nineteenth century of our own world, the Great Powers of the globe use super-science and alien engineering as they clash over resources and power. Battleships and cruisers sail the surface of the sea while sky fortresses and dirigibles soar in the sky above. Submarines lurk beneath the waves alongside squid automata and colossal mechanical knights. Fighters and bombers circle, waiting to dive upon their prey. All of this combines for an intense, tactical experience.
Serving as the perfect starting point for any Crown player in the new edition of Dystopian Wars, the Crown Starter Set will be available to pre-order soon. Offering a multitude of build variants, a Rule Book, and Gubbins, all new players need to jump into the battle is this box and any of our wide range of existing previous edition Battlefleet Sets.
Crown Starter Set
For over a century, Crown engineering has led the world, their naval superiority rightfully earning them control of the seas. That control, however, has been slipping for some time, and while her fleets are still numerous the Crown's dominance is no longer assured.
This Faction Starter Set allows players to begin or expand their Dystopian Wars collections with minimal fuss. From a flagship option of Sabre Command Cruisers to the reliable Albion Cruisers.
They can be supported by Caliburn Frigates, skirting islands with their shallow draught, or Excalibur Heavy Destroyers with firepower belying their small size.
The Crown has access to dependable vessels and the technological marvel known as the Guardian Generator. This provides an aegis of protection as powerful as the Pax Britannia and has been the saviour of many of Her Majesty’s sailors.

Armoured Clash
Following their introduction to Armoured Clash last month, the Alliance returns in droves - providing a more cost-effective way of getting any additional units you require.
Valenca Battlegroup Set
The Valença Landship houses a comparatively small version of the Solex Generators found on Alliance naval vessels. While lacking the city-flattening power of their seaborne counterparts, the heat lance from a Valença is one of the most destructive forces of the Dystopian Age even so.
Reducing armour to slag and instantly immolating whole swathes of infantry, the superstitious consider the energies to be blasted straight from Hell, while the ministers of the Alliance praise its purification of the enemy ranks as something profoundly holy.
Other elements of the Alliance forces orbit this miracle of Alliance technology like moons around a blazing sun, even the intense warmth it emits being strangely comforting to allied troops.
SUSA Ordenanzas cheer when it fires, Globonauta Snipers float behind, using it as mobile cover, while Charette Armoured vehicles imitate their massive brothers, unleashing smaller, but no less deadly, heat beams of their own.

Alliance Assault Regiment
While the swooping Bersaglieri Outriders, their repulsor bikes kicking up dust, are often the first elements of an Alliance force seen in battle, they are certainly not the last.
Navarre Artillery Tanks lay down suppressive fire from their 200mm howitzers to cover the advancing Alliance forces.
Then, without warning, Drop Capsules thunder from the sky like the wrath of God. To those fortunate enough to have never seen one it would sound impossible for anything inside to survive the fall. It is only then that the French Legionnaires and their weapons teams disembark, perfectly placed to exact maximum carnage on the disordered foe. They are the scalpel, neatly carving cutting through enemy formations and cauterising the wound with precision blasts of their heat rifles.
Contents:
2x Navarre Artillery Tank (may also be built as Corregedor Heavy Transport or Avignon Mobile Chapel)
5x French Legionnaires
1x French Drop Capsule (may also be built as French Drop Firebase)
5x Bersaglieri Outriders
Alliance Infantry Regiment
Even the calculating genius of the Prince-President could not have predicted the loyalty and power of the Ordenanza Militia.
Vast numbers are shipped from their homes to fight in conflicts all over the world on behalf of the Alliance. While individually, their skill as soldiers may be open to question, en masse their faith and bravery can turn the tide of battle.
They are often supported by an eclectic mix of troops. From the Alpini Rangers, capable of scaling heights and clearing paths for their fellows, to the Globonauta Snipers, a lack of favourable terrain providing no hindrance as they provide their own, floating vantage points.
Alongside them, ranks of Charette Armoured Vehicles cover ground at speed, their diminutive size being the last thing enemies notice before their flesh is melted from their bones by devastating rays of heat. Should the fighting become more ‘up close and personal’,
Destreza Bladestriders and Becerrillo War Dogs rampage forward, their enemies being either dexterously sliced in twain or ravaged by a toothy maw. Neither of which are a preferred end.
