It’s another busy month here at Warcradle Studios, evidenced by the incredible lineup of April releases we have in store for you for Dystopian Wars and Warcradle Scenics.
The Empire receive a new Battlefleet to add to their arsenal with the Hachiman Battlefleet Set, a Japanese vessel boasting devastating close-ranged attacks with its Exosubs. Opposing them is the pride of any Crown fleet, the Gloriana Dread-Naught. This mighty warship arrives this month to serve Queen and Country (and do so ruthlessly) in the Gloriana Battlefleet Set.
Additional reinforcements also arrive for the Imperium and Alliance, as the Imperium Aerial Squadrons and the Italian Frontline Squadrons are also due to be released in April.
The unsolved mysteries of the Immortal Tombs resurface again this month as the Individual Terran Kits from the Immortal Tomb Set become available to pre-order separately. How will your wargames utilise this unique ancient yet high-tech landscape?

Dystopian Wars
For fans of the Japanese nation, the Hachiman Battlefleet Set attempts to close the gap and offers players an excellent flagship for their fleet. Bring glory to the Crown with HMS Gloriana, a Dread-Naught feared across the globe with an equally efficient Battlefleet to back herself up.
Previously seen in the Zeppelin Battlefleet Set and Mars Battlefleet Set, respectively, the Imperium Aerial Squadrons and Italian Frontline Squadrons are an excellent pickup for any Imperium or Alliance player looking to add a little more firepower to their fleet.
Hachiman Battlefleet Set
Squadrons of deadly Rin Exosubs can launch from the Hachiman’s twin magnetic accelerator tubes. These nimble automata skim the surface before plunging beneath the waves, reconfiguring into a torpedo-like form. Devastating the enemy at close range, the Exosubs rocket to the surface in flight mode and return to the Hachiman for redeployment.
All the coastal nations of the Empire design, build and crew their own sea-going vessels. Osaka cruisers are a source of great pride within the Empire, and the expansion of their borders necessitates deploying them more visibly, something that has been welcomed by Japanese commanders especially.
Squadrons of Chubu Hunter Submarines prowl the Sea of Japan and beyond looking for targets of opportunity. These deadly vessels are armed with multiple torpedo launchers to achieve a swift kill.
The Japanese favour Kyoto fast frigates when running their patrols between the far-flung islands of their homeland. The vessels are ideally suited for this task and for new sailors a year on a Kyoto is their first experience of the proud naval traditions of the Blazing Sun.

Gloriana Battlefleet Set
When HMS Gloriana was launched in 1851, she was an apex predator without rival. Even today, these imposing vessels are able to rout entire battlefleets alone and fear nothing, giving rise to vessels in her image being desired by all the Great Powers, but never exceeded.
Tough and reliable airships, the Prydain has served the Crown for two decades, replacing the Glaisher class war balloons after the debacle during the Rout at Mboto Gorge. Despite their age, the Prydain still prove to be more than a match for the latest aeronautic vessels of the other Great Powers.
Reliable workhorses of the Crown’s aerial ambitions, squadrons of Tintagels patrol every corner of the globe. Bow-mounted detectors reveal enemy submersibles to allies and embarked troops are ready to drop in and storm enemy fortifications.
While the hull has remained relatively unchanged for more than fifty years, the Albion class Cruisers have received a regular schedule of upgrades integrating newer technology to keep these venerable vessels relevant and capable in this Dystopian Age.
Crews of Caliburn Frigates are renowned for their fearlessness in the face of larger and more deadly adversaries. Though some will be lost in the attempt, they valiantly battle in her Majesty’s name.

Imperium Aerial Squadrons
Colloquially referred to as war rockets by the Prussian navy due to their distinctive missile-like shape, the Kriegsturm patrol the skies around the Imperium and beyond. Commonly armed with deadly high-speed Luft Speerschleuders, these weapons are ideal for hunting down submerged targets while its Flak Batteries rip apart aircraft.
Utilising pressurised Blaugas jet engines to achieve exceptional speeds, the Jaeger is a lethal aerial hunter operating in packs to clear the skies of enemy airships or plunge out of the clouds to strike their unsuspecting foes below.

Italian Frontline Squadrons
Pride of the Castellammare di Stabia shipyards, the Gladius is a superb vessel. Optimised for long sea voyages with comfortable crew berths and excellent fresh-water reclamation systems, the Gladius is a popular assignment in the Regia Marina.
Crews of Pilum monitors are reminded that they are often the last line of defence for civilians and as such are assigned from recruits hailing from inland towns and cities of Italy. This ensures they understand what is truly at stake should an enemy vessel get past them and into Alliance territory.
Cestus Zebeks are often tasked to defend the flanks of Alliance fleets as well as grouping their attacks against key targets of opportunity.
