Armoured Clash Launch Preview
Armoured Clash is a thrilling tabletop wargame of epic land battles. Like its sister game, Dystopian Wars, Armoured Clash takes place in the alternate late nineteenth-century world known as the Dystopian Age. It uses highly detailed miniatures to represent mass battles in which players become generals for their super-science-fuelled nations as they clash over resources and power.
So, how are players going to be able to get started with Armoured Clash?
When the game launches later this year, there will be several ways to start your journey into the game, with a range of brilliant products designed to suit a variety of budgets and needs. From massive Starter Sets containing everything to smaller introductory sets designed to give hobbyists a taster of the game without having to commit to the larger set straight away. We will also have the Rulebook, Dice Set and Command and Conquest cards available separately at launch. These exciting elements of the game will be explained in more detail in a future article.
THE STARTER SETS
This is it, the ultimate way to get playing Armoured Clash! A massive army for the Crown or the Empire led by an awe-inspiring landship, along with multi-part plastic terrain, quick play rules, tokens, templates, and attack dice. The set also comes with the full rulebook, a deck of Command and Conquest cards all crammed inside our largest ever box (bigger than even the Dystopian Wars starter sets!)
THE INTRODUCTORY SETS
For hobbyists looking to try the game out with some quick-play rules, a range of amazing Armoured Clash miniatures, some dice, tokens and templates, then the Introductory sets are ideal. While Introductory Sets don’t include the Command and Conquest cards or the full Rulebook, they are designed to give you everything you need to quickly start playing and getting a feel for the game. Once you are confident to take the next step, you can easily grab the cards and rules separately or go all in and get yourself one of the fantastic Starter Sets.
THE BATTLE FOR SINGAPORE
For some hobbyists, the best way to start the journey is with a friend, so we present The Battle For Singapore - a Two Player Introductory Set. Featuring all the contents of two Introductory Sets mentioned previously, including the quick-start rules, this set also includes some multi-part plastic terrain along with an introductory campaign to give you a series of thematic clashes. Using only the miniatures found in this box, the Battle for Singapore campaign will teach you the game along the way. Once you’ve completed this campaign, you’ll each be ready to grab either the Starter Set or the separately available rulebook and Command and Conquest deck and get stuck into larger games.

These exciting launch products are just the start for Armoured Clash, we’ll have more Factions coming over the next year, each launching with their own Starter Set and also an Introductory Set to give you the choice of how to begin. We plan on plenty of other releases too, as you fight for dominance in the Dystopian Age with a variety of fantastic infantry, tanks, artillery, aircraft and of course the huge behemoths such as landships and other super heavy warmachines.
