And it's time for another Daz's Daily!

Today's tutorial is my rough and ready approach to wolfy-type fur which only takes a few minutes to do.

Basecoat with Thornwood Green. I did this in two passes watered down 50/50. This ensures that all the little gaps between the individual strands are coloured.

A 50/50 mix of Thornwood Green and Hammerfall Khaki is overbrushed over the whole area.

Overbrushing is like drybrushing but take less paint from the brush.

Pure Hammerfall Khaki is overbrushed over the entire area.

A 50/50 mix of Hammerfall Khaki and Morrow White is drybrushed towards the edges of the fur.

The whole area is glazed with a 50/50 mixture of Yellow and Brown ink watered down 50/50

A glaze of Brown ink is applied to the fur from the centre outwards, leaving around 5 mm of the edges uncovered.

A glaze of 50/50 Brown and Black ink is applied from the centre outwards, once again leaving around 5 mm of the previous area uncovered.

A glaze of Black ink is applied as a 10 mm wide stripe down the centre of the back.

Another layer of Black ink is applied to the same area as the previous step to add depth.

Morrow White is drybrushed very lightly over any raised areas and towards the edge of the fur where it meets the skin

A glaze of Brown ink is applied to the whole area to unify our shades and highlights
