Here at Warcradle Studios we love miniatures games, board games, roleplay games and, of course, card games! So when we saw an opportunity to develop an expandable card game set in World War Two, we leapt at the chance.
Ever get the feeling that something strange is happening in town? Is there a weird fishy smell? Are all the locals wearing oversized clothing and manipulating objects even though you can see that their hands aren’t moving? I guess it’s time we look closer at another faction for Mythos, our forthcoming 1920’s horror skirmish game…
It's wonderful being able to develop so many rich and varied properties in the studio. With Dystopian Wars there has been an opportunity to dive deeply into the various cultures that make up each of the Factions and draw on them in new and interesting ways.
Greetings my excellent friends, my name is Jim and I’m currently working on several projects here in the Warcradle Studio, one of which is the most triumphant Bill & Ted’s Riff in Time board game.
The cosmic horror of the unknown (or unknowable ) has inspired a wealth of role-play games, board games and miniatures games as well as the novels, video games and even television and movies that riff on the ‘ancient horror’ genre. So when we had the opportunity to further develop Mythos as a tabletop skirmish game, we knew that it had to continue to be something special and distinctive, incorporating not only this cosmic horror flavour of mythology but also the creatures and mysteries found elsewhere, all given a suitable Mythos twist!
Starting from this week we are going to produce a regular series of Studio Diaries which will draw back the curtain a little on what is being worked on!
Warcradle Studios are proud to announce their forthcoming miniatures game, inspired by the occult horror author, H.P. Lovecraft.
Mean-spirited, foul-mouthed and lawless villains are on the loose, a hulking beast has been seen lurking around a rotting building in the Nazombu Bayou, and Portal travel is more popular than ever...
This months pre-orders are here.
It doesn’t matter if you’re building a post-apocalyptic battlefield, a fantasy battlefield or building a dense townscape for your favourite fantasy-based skirmish game. Gloomburg has you covered, with 6 different building types and at least one ruined variation for each so you can do anything your imagination desires.
We've been planning to do something a little bit special for this year's festive miniature as a way of thanking the community for all the support we've received.
Warcradle Studios is bringing Wild West Exodus and Dystopian Wars to Indianapolis for Gen Con 2019!
